~Installment One of Our Tech Tips and Tricks Series~
Acquiring gear from DT comes with a fast acting, on call, coast to coast support team ready to assist you!
We partner with our clients to understand their problems and help specify, procure, set up, use, and maintain the world’s best digitization solutions. When you have an equipment or software problem that no one in the studio can solve you can call Digital Transitions. Your first thought may be to call your sales rep. You trust them and they know their stuff. Our sales reps are happy to help anyway they can of course but if you have a technical issue it can save precious time to contact support directly. As a DT client your best way to contact our technical support department is by sending an email to support@digitaltransitions.com. This email will create a support ticket that our technical team will respond to quickly. In the email describe the problem and include the serial number of affected equipment. You can also attach screenshots, pictures or videos if that will help us understand and evaluate the problem. If it is a Capture One software problem, use the instructions here:
https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002405257-How-do-I-retrieve-logs- to retrieve the log files and attach them to your email. One of our support technicians will reach out to you. Depending on the nature of your problem, we may have an immediate solution or may work with you on additional troubleshooting if necessary.
If you have an urgent question, you can call us at 212-529-6825 and press 4 when prompted for an extension. This rings at all of our techs’ desks, ensuring you get an answer as soon as possible. If you get our voice mail, please leave a message with your name, phone number and a brief description of the type of problem. One of us will get back to you promptly. If possible, have the equipment and or computer nearby when you call so we can easily get important information and work with you to isolate the problem.
You can contact our support team here: http://www.digitaltransitions.com/dt-support.
No matter how you contact us, we use all our experience to find a solution. We can get equipment repaired and loaners sent when applicable. If a repair doesn’t include a loaner, we can arrange a discounted rental. In complex and puzzling situations, we can help sort out which part of a system is responsible for a problem. We all hope you don’t have technical issues, but if you do please contact Digital Transitions technical support.
